The wheel has a rim (16) with a cushion tire (20) which is made in shape of an inflatable cover of a variable profile. The tire has a deformable tire tread (26) which adjusts the diameter of the wheel at the level of the tread according to an inflation pressure. The tire (20) has an inner sleeve (22) with a lug (24) received in a groove (18) of the rim. Annular reinforcements are formed of a wire in reinforcement material drowned in the thickness of the sleeve.
