PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guidewire which reconciles the improvement of the supportive property of the tips with the improvement of insertability into peripheral portions by securement of flexibility.SOLUTION: The guidewire 1A includes a core wire 2, a coil body 3 covering the core wire 2, a foremost section 4 fastening the tips of the core wire 2 and the tips of the coil body 3, and a resin layer 6 formed on an outer perimetrical face of the core wire 2.
