PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combine-harvester which is avoided from a jamming by using a clamping guide to detect a transportation load thereby to infer the quantity of grain culm being transported.SOLUTION: A combine-harvester has a grain culm transport device for transporting a culm to a thresher for threshing the culm. This combine-harvester comprises a vertical transfer guide body 68, a potentiometer 84 and a display device. The vertical transfer guide body 68 is disposed in a grain culm transfer passage to a feed chain of the thresher, and has a guide part formed long along said grain culm transfer passage. The potentiometer 84 detects a load accompanying the passage of the grain culm through a portion of the vertical transfer guide body 68.
