PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high contrast and high resolution ultrasonic microscope without dyeing organism.SOLUTION: A number of thin waveguides connected with piezoelectric elements are installed in a partition wall having a different sound wave propagation velocity from the waveguide. Vibration of each piezoelectric element is controlled so that a sound wave having an exact opposite phase is propagated in adjacent thin waveguides.
