PURPOSE: An eyeball device for a robot is provided to control the movement of a ball socket by installing links at one of upper and lower parts of the back side of the ball socket and one of left and right parts of the ball socket.CONSTITUTION: An eyeball device for a robot comprises a ball member(110), a ball socket(130), motors(140), and links(170). The rear portion of the ball member is coupled to an eyeball supporting member(120). The ball socket has first and second joint cells(136,137) and an eyeball-shaped front portion. The first joint cell is formed in the rear center portion and receives the ball member. Multiple second joint cells are formed in the rear peripheral portion. Multiple motors are installed in the eyeball supporting member. Balls receiving in each second joint cell is formed in one end of second links(173).
