PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional homogeneous pigment mixture having no demerits above mentioned, having a favorable skin feeling, favorable dispersibility in a cosmetic formulation, chemical and photochemical stabilities, and having a high covering power, along with pure colors suitable for skin.SOLUTION: A pigment mixture in this invention includes at least two components A and B as a base. The component A is a mixture of flaked and spherical substrates covered by one or plural inorganic and/or organic layers, and the component B is a pigment mixture including crystalline or amorphous particles selected from the group consisting of metal oxides, metal hydroxides, metal oxyhalides, Berlin blue or mixture thereof.
