A fishing rod comprises a plurality of rod bodies which are connected in a telescopic extension and capable of preventing entanglement of a fishing line at a tip part thereof. In comparison with conventional middle-channel type fishing rods which provide a fishing line to be inserted through an interior of a rod body from a rod bottom to a tip, the fishing line of the disclosed fishing rod can be easily inserted through the interior of the rod body. A fishing rod (1) comprises a rod body (10) including a plurality of rods such as a first rod (11) used as a tip side and a second rod (12), etc., which are connected in the telescopic extension. The first rod (11) comprises a rod bottom side having a side part opened with a first through hole (110), and the second rod (12) comprises a tip side having a side part opened with a second through hole (120), in which the first through hole (110) of the first rod (11) and the second through hole (120) of the second rod (12) are communicated to each other in a telescopic-extension state.
