One of the objects of the present Invention is directed to homeopathicformulations (a) comprising tinctures and/or diluted extracts preferablysubjected to potentization of at least 8 or 9 herbs selected from BellisPerennis, Calendula Officinalis, Hamamelis Virginiana, Arnica Montana,Hypericum Perforatum, Aconitum Napellus, Ledum Palustre, Bryonia Alba and RutaGraveolens or (b) consisting of, as active ingredients, tinctures and/ordiluted extracts subjected to potentization of 5, 6 or 7 herbs selected fromBellis Perennis, Calendula Officinalis, Hamamelis Virginiana, Arnica Montana,Hypericum Perforatum, Aconitum Napellus, Ledum Palustre, Bryonia Alba and RutaGraveolens. The potentized homeopathics are in a base, preferably clear gelbase. The homeopathic formulations are highly effective in treating orrelieving pain and inflammation. The present invention is also directed to amethod of treating or relieving pain and inflammation by administering any ofthe homeopathic formulations of the invention to a subject, preferably asubject in need of the treatment or relief Within the scope of the inventionis a method of making the homeopathic formulation by mixing thehomeopathically prepared herbal active ingredients with a Base, preferably aclear gel base.
