This invention relates to a Basella alba extract which is prepared by the following steps, comprising: (1) grinding Basella alba into a thickened state, adding water or ethanol, and heating to 50-150 DEG C for 1-6 hours (2) using filter paper to filter and using ethanol to precipitate the obtained filtrate for 1-48 hours, wherein the ratio of filtrate to ethanol is 1:2 (3) and removing the supernatant to obtain Basella alba water extract or Basella alba ethanol extract. This invention found that Basella alba extract has the efficacies of inhibition of melanin formation, inhibition of tyrosinase activity, ultraviolet resistance, anti-aging, anti-free radical, and inhibition of inflammation, making Basella alba extract another better natural choice in whitening application.本案發明為一種落葵(Basella alba)萃取物,其係由下列步驟所製備而得,包含:(1)將落葵直接磨碎至稠狀,加入水或乙醇加熱50℃~150℃、1~6小時;(2)以濾紙過濾,取得之濾液以乙醇沉澱1~48小時,濾液比乙醇為1:2;(3)去除上清液後即為落葵水萃取物或落葵乙醇萃取物。本發明發現落葵萃取物具有抑制黑色素形成、抑制酪胺酸酶活性、抗紫外線防禦、抗老化、抗自由基、及具抑制發炎反應的功效,使落葵萃取物成為美白應用上另一個更佳的天然選擇。
