The method comprises the following steps: firstly, manufacturing a 3D printed simulated resin tooth model based on an isolated tooth digitized image； then carrying out CBCT or micro-CT scanning on the resin tooth model before and after root canal preparation； recording conditions of an instrument model, a step, apical foramen enlargement and root canal orifice extraclast before and after the usage of a root canal preparation operation； using image processing software to extract a form of each cross-section (A0, A1) of a root canal wall, a geometric center point (B0, B1) of each cross-section of a root canal and the minimum distance from each part on the root canal wall to a dental surface； and next, carrying out an overlapping comparison on corresponding images before and after the preparation, and obtaining the degree of cleanliness and the degree of deviation of a prepared resin root canal and the remaining minimum root canal wall thickness (C1) after the preparation.
