The present invention relates to a kartogenin-chitosan complex particle with improved sustained release and biocompatibility. Effects of increases in biocompatibility, the efficiency of chondrogenic differentiation and remaining time in the joint were confirmed by using a kartogenin-chitosan microparticle or a kartogenin-chitosan nanoparticle of the present invention. Therefore, regarding the prevention or the treatment of bone diseases, target treatment can be performed through a more fundamental approach.본 발명은 서방출 및 생체 적합성이 개선된 카토제닌-키토산 복합체 입자(Kartogenin-conjugated chitosan particles)에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 카토제닌-키토산 마이크로 입자(Kartogenin-Chitosan microparticles) 또는 카토제닌-키토산 나노입자(Kartogenin-Chitosan nanoparticles)를 이용하여 생체 적합성, 연골 분화효율 및 관절 내 잔류시간 증가효과를 확인하였는바, 골 질환의 예방 또는 치료에 있어서, 보다 근본적으로 접근하여 타겟 치료를 할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
