An object of the present invention is to provide a lotion preparation excellent in the antimicrobial effect and also in the stability of the active ingredient and contains no additive with a safety problem. A lotion preparation containing (a) 1-cyclopropyl-8-methyl-7-[5-methyl-6-(methylamino)-3-pyridy 1]-4-oxo-1,4-dihydro-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid and/or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, (b) a lower alcohol, (c) a water-soluble polymer, and (d) a polyhydric alcohol, and having a pH of 9 to 12.
