An object of the present invention is to provide a lotion preparation excellent in the antimicrobial effect and also in the stability of the active ingredient and contains no additive with a safety problem. A lotion preparation containing (a) 1-cyclopropyl-8-methyl-7-[5-methyl-6-(methylamino)-3-pyridy 1]-4-oxo-1,4-dihydro-3-quinolinecarboxylic acid and/or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, (b) a lower alcohol, (c) a water-soluble polymer, and (d) a polyhydric alcohol, and having a pH of 9 to 12.우수한 항균효과를 발휘하고 유효 성분의 안정성이 우수하며, 또한 안정성에 문제가 있는 첨가제를 포함하지 않은 로션제를 제공하는 것을 과제로 한다. (a)1-시클로프로필-8-메틸-7-[5-메틸-6-(메틸아미노)-3-피리딜]-4-옥소-1,4-디히드로-3-퀴놀린 카르복시산 및/또는 그 의약상 허용되는 염, (b)저급 알콜, (c)수용성 고분자, 및 (d)다가 알콜을 함유하고 제제의 pH가 9 ∼ 12인 로션제이다.
