PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MRI apparatus including a bed changeable into a required structure according to a subjects ability or the like to move the body.SOLUTION: A base 32 supporting a top plate 31 of the bed includes openings 34 in a side face, and each opening 34 includes a support base 35 for supporting an accessory device 40 detachably, and a mechanism part. The mechanism part includes a mechanism for moving the support base 35 from a position to enclose the whole of the support base 35 in the opening into a position to project one end of the support base from the opening to the outside and fixing it releasably.
