The present invention relates to a zwitterionic liposome consisting essentially of 50-65 mol% phosphatidylcholine lipid, 30-45 mol% cholesterol, and 2-8 mol% PEG-lipid； and cisplatin. A composition for treatment is provided. Cisplatin is encapsulated in the liposomes in an amount such that the ratio of total lipid weight to cisplatin weight is from about 65: 1 to about 95: 1.
