The device has a throw wheel (3) rotatably driven around an axle (6) for ejecting a distribution material i.e. straw, to be distributed. An additional blower (4) is provided to produce an ejecting air flow, where the blower is attached to the throw wheel. The throw wheel and the blower are arranged coaxially with each other in a common housing (2) and driven by a common shaft. A partition (13) is provided between the throw wheel and the blower. The blower is provided with curved fan blades (11).
