PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve incidence efficiency of light on a detecting light transmission means from a supplying light transmission means.SOLUTION: A shape detection probe detecting a shape of a detection object includes: a light-supplying fiber 10 as a supplying light transmission means guiding light to a tip part of the shape detection probe and curvature-detecting fibers 12 as detecting light transmission means in each of which a transmission amount of light changes according to a bend angle by use of the light guided from the light-supplying fiber 10.
