PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a breathing simulator capable of accurately simulating the motion of lungs.SOLUTION: The capacity of a bellows pump 21 is changed by using simulated intrapulmonary pressure Palv or simulated air passage pressure Paw that is sensed. Consequently, the simulated motion of lungs can be changed in accordance with the volume of assistance by a respirator and can be made close to the motion of the actual lungs.
