The present invention relates to a portable ozone generator by corona-effect discharge, used to purify the air at the periphery thereof. Said generator is for personal use and comprises a power source with a preferred embodiment of up to 3.7Vdc rechargeable lithium-ion battery, means for recharging the battery, an electronic card responsible for providing and controlling the high-voltage of a low power. The electronic card produces the corona effect between the electrodes, according to the distance and the dielectric used. Also, it consists of means for driving ozone constituted by a direct voltage fan to which a pair of electrodes is incorporated, and with the electronic card generate and transport ozone. Finally, it involves a housing structure in which the elements that constitute the invention are introduced. The electrodes are integrated into a fan between the rotating blades and a peripheral ring, thereby allowing producing a device for generating ozone, integrating the ozone pr oduction cell and a fan in the same component that constitutes a personal use ozone generator with compact and portable rechargeable battery.La presente invención se refiere a un generador de ozono portátil mediante descargas de efecto corona que se utiliza para purificar el aire que está en la periferia del mismo.
