PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing filter for toilets which is extremely effective for immediate deodorization of especially three major toilet odors (hydrogen sulfide odor, amine-based odor and mercaptan-based odor) among other malodorous gases, minimizes pressure drop and has a lasting deodorizing effect.SOLUTION: In the deodorizing filter for toilets, an activated carbon mixed paper which has been cationized is made to carry a metallic phthalocyanine complex, a weak alkaline metallic salt and a water-soluble copper compound.
