PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a gas discharge light-emitting device for ultraviolet or visible light source which is simple in configuration, easy to assemble and repair, and excellent in luminous efficiency.SOLUTION: A gas discharge light-emitting device consists of a luminous tube assembly including an elongated luminous tube internally provided with an ultraviolet-light emitting phosphor layer and enclosing a discharge gas, and an electrode assembly where at least a pair of discharge electrodes are placed on an insulating substrate, and is characterized by a touch contact constitution where the luminous tube assembly is placed removably on the electrode assembly. The electrode pair of the electrode assembly has a long electrode extending to the opposite sides while holding a discharge gap in the longitudinal direction of the luminous tube. When an alternating drive voltage is applied, the discharge is expanded in the longitudinal direction of the electrode, from trigger discharge at a pair of electrode proximity ends.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】構成が簡単で、組み立て修復の容易な発光効率のよい紫外又は可視光源用ガス放電発光装置を得ること。【解決手段】内部に紫外線発光蛍光体層を設けて放電ガスを封入した細長い発光管を備えた発光管組み立て体と、絶縁基板上に少なくとも1対の放電電極を配置した電極組み立て体とからなり、該電極組み立て体の上に前記発光管組み立て体を着脱可能に載置したタッチコンタクト構成を特徴とするガス放電発光装置。電極組み立て体の電極対は、発光管の長手方向に放電間隙を挟んで両側に延びる長電極を有し、交番駆動電圧の印加により、対となる電極近接端部でのトリガ放電から電極の長手方向に向けて拡張するような放電が行われる。【選択図】図1
