PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function improving agent of hyaluronate sodium which solves the problem of decreased feeling of use such as decreased moisturizing function after rinsing, or stickiness, and also improves the moisturizing function of hyaluronate sodium.SOLUTION: The invention provides a function improving agent of hyaluronate sodium containing a copolymer of 70-90 mol% of 2-methacryloyloxyethyl 2-(trimethylammonio) ethyl phosphate and 10-30 mol% of methacrylic acid butylester, the copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 500,000-5,000,000. The copolymer contains 1-5 times by mass ratio to hyaluronate sodium.
