An isohumulone compound clathrate in which an isohumulone compound is encapsulatedin γ-cyclodextrin (CD). There is provided an isohumulone compound clathratethat can be obtained by mixing together an isohumulone compound, γ-cyclodextrin(γCD) and an aqueous solvent in a ratio of isohumulone compound : γCD: aqueous solvent = 1 : 5 to 25 : 20 to 112.5 (provided that γCD : aqueous solvent= 1 : 4 to 9).
