To provide a medical handpiece oil supply maintenance device which can exhaust in a short time by supplying the air surplus oil remained in a medical handpiece after oil is supplied for the medical handpiece, and a control method for the same.SOLUTION: An oil supply maintenance device 1 of a medical handpiece HP includes: a housing provided with a housing chamber that houses a medical handpiece； and a manifold 30 connected to the medical handpiece in the housing chamber of the housing. The manifold 30 includes: a first pipe line P1 capable of supplying the medical handpiece with oil and air； a second pipe line P2 capable of supplying the first pipe line P1 with oil； and a third pipe line P3 capable of supplying the first pipe line P1 with air.
