The nozzle can interact with the filling device so that the camming tracks and followers engage so as to open the valve on each when one is fully received in the other. The track or follower can be a partial thread with a stop. There can be multiple tracks or followers in the form of multistart threads. The nozzle or filler can include a guide to assist alignment. The valves ideally have a biasing element 25 such as a spring to urge them towards their seats in the closed position.
