The present invention addresses the problem of developing and providing a novel agricultural/horticultural insecticide in light of factors in agricultural and horticultural crop production such as the damage caused by harmful insects, which is still significant, and the emergence of harmful insects resistant to conventional chemicals. Provided are a condensed heterocyclic compound having bonded heterocycles, said compound being represented by general formula (1) [In the formula, R1 represents an ethyl group, R2 represents a haloalkyl group, A1 represents an N-methyl group, A2 and A3 represent nitrogen atoms, n represents 1, and m represents 2. Q represents oxadiazole.], and the salts of said compound. Further provided are an agricultural/horticultural insecticide having said compound as an active ingredient, and a method for using the agricultural/horticultural insecticide.
