PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize appropriate conditions for any light source/detector layouts and various required specifications in a biological light measurement apparatus based on the principle of the near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS).SOLUTION: A biological light measurement apparatus includes: a light irradiation module 13 including a light source 101; a light detection module 14 including a photodetector 102; and a central control/analysis part 18. The central control/analysis part 18 acquires a correspondence relation between each photodetector and the light irradiation part by using a correspondence acquisition part 19. The light irradiation module 13 and the light detection module 14 switch a signal detection system at each measurement point by using the correspondence relation and an evaluation function value determined by a detection output by the photodetector 102. As the structure allows a mixture of a plurality of signal detection systems, a highly accurate and optimal biological light measurement apparatus is attained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
