An apparatus for reducing the temperature of a liquid product in a processingline includes a polymer member havinga passageway formed therein for receiving a liquid product in the passageway；an inlet and an outlet each in fluid communicationwith a corresponding opposed end of the passageway； a plurality of deliverychannels formed in the polymer member, each one ofthe plurality of delivery channels having an opening in fluid communicationwith a different location of the passageway andconstructed to provide a chilling medium info the passageway； and a supportmember for the polymer member, the support memberconstructed to mount said polymer member in the processing line. A relatedmethod is also provided.
