The present invention relates to a carrier system, a carrier and a pharmaceutical composition comprising a pathogen entry protein or fragment thereof, which specifically binds to a molecule on the surface of a mammalian target cell of said pathogen and which is covalently linked to the surface of said carrier and at least one hydrophilic antipathogenic agent.
