The inhaler (1) has a carrier (3) that is held on a side, so that the carrier is movable by a part of a spring portion (4) that is deformable by spring resilience to oscillate. The inhaler is embodied such that the carrier sets oscillating part (S) with a defined movement, amplitude and/or frequency. The spring portion holds the carrier, so that the carrier is movable at right-angles in direction of air current (L). The spring portion comprises two spring bars that are extended parallel to one another. An independent claim is also included for a method for performing delivery and nebulization of formulation from a carrier.
