PURPOSE: A power transferring apparatus of a grass cutter is provided to prevent the overload of a cutting blade from transferring to a driving source and a battery by stopping the cutting blade if the cutting blade is overloaded.CONSTITUTION: A power transferring apparatus includes a shaft connecting unit(18), a driven shaft(26), and a driven connecting part(30). The shaft connecting unit rotates by the driving shaft of a driving source installed at a main body housing. A frictional driving rod is arranged at the tip end part of the shaft connecting unit. The driven shaft is concentrically connected to the shaft connecting unit and rotates by the driving force of the driving source. A cutting blade is arranged at the driven shaft. An elastic member is arranged in the driven connecting part. The elastic member is adjacently arranged to the external side of the frictional driving rod. The driven connecting part is arranged at one end part of the driven shaft. If load applied to the cutting blade is more than a pre-determined value, the driven shaft is stopped about the shaft connecting unit by the driven connecting part.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2013본 발명은 예초기의 동력전달장치에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 잡초나 잔디의 절단을 위한 절단날(28)에 돌, 지면, 굵은 나뭇가지 등이 걸려 부하가 작용하더라도 상기 절단날(28)을 회전시키는 구동력을 제공하는 구동원(14)에는 부하가 작용하지 않도록 한다. 이를 위해 상기 절단날(28)이 설치되는 종동축(26)에 종동연결부(30)가 형성되고, 상기 종동연결부(30)에는 상기 구동원(14)의 구동축(16)에 연결된 축연결구(18)의 마찰구동봉(19)이 위치되는 구동공삽입봉(32)이 상기 종동축(26)의 회전중심과 동심이 되게 형성된다. 상기 마찰구동봉(19)에는 상기 종동연결부(30)에 구비되는 탄성부재(36)의 일단부가 밀착되어 상기 축연결구(18)와 종동축(26)이 선택적으로 일체로 회전되도록 한다. 이와 같은 본 발명에 의하면 절단날(28)에 부하가 작용하더라도, 구동원(14)은 계속적으로 동작될 수 있어, 구동원(14)이나 이에 전원을 공급하는 배터리에 무리한 힘이 가해지지 않게 되어 구동원(14)과 배터리의 내구성이 좋아지는 이점이 있다.
