PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stylet wire, when advancing a catheter to a target lumen branch, easily and preferentially advancing the catheter, and a medical device capable of applying torque to the catheter, with a stylet inserted in the catheter, while releasing a medicament such as a contrast medium from the catheter or sucking the blood or the like.SOLUTION: A medical device 1 according to the present invention includes: a catheter 2； a stylet wire 3； and a catheter torquer hub 5 for applying torque to the catheter, while injecting a contrast medium. The outside diameter of the stylet wire 3 has such a dimension as to introduce a medicament to one end 2a side of the catheter 2. The medicament can be released to the body lumen, with the stylet wire 3 inserted in the catheter 2.
