PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency treatment tool for securing the airway as soon as possible by passing air through the fauces, the tool using the relationship among mutually interfering muscles comprising an area from relaxed oral cavity to larynx.SOLUTION: An expanding tool main body 1 of a tool for expanding and maintaining airway aperture comprises: an intraoral engaging entity 2 at the center flexible bent pieces 3 formed on both sides of the intraoral engaging entity 2 upper lip fitting parts 6 and a lower tooth fitting groove formed on the surface of the main body and an upper tooth fitting groove and a lower tooth fitting groove formed on the surface of the main body for insertion into the oral cavity, the upper tooth fitting groove and the lower tooth fitting groove being arranged on a straight line or on different levels. In this configuration, left and right air holes, also used for vomit sucking, in a central part of the intraoral engaging entity, and a concavity formed in a central part of the upper surface of the tongue by pressing the tongue backward with a pressing bar inserted into an insertion hole, form a passage of inhaled air when both sides of the fauces are extended laterally by the tips of the left and right bent pieces and both sides of the tongue are raised upward. In addition, the upper tooth fitting groove and lower tooth fitting groove are fitted with cradles to accept teeth and alveolar ridges.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】救急処置時に使用するためのもので、一刻も早く口挟に空気を通して気道を確保させる為に、弛緩した口腔から喉頭までを構成する筋肉のお互いの干渉関係を応用した器具である。【解決手段】気道口径拡大維持器具の拡大器具本体1には、中央の口内掛止主体2と、その両側に屈曲自在の折曲片3を形成し、表面に上唇嵌合部6と下歯嵌合溝を設け、表面の口腔内に挿入する上下に上歯嵌合溝と下歯嵌合溝とを設け、上歯嵌合溝の位置より下歯嵌合溝が直線に並ぶか又は段違いに形成している。また、口内掛止主体の中央の吐瀉物吸引を兼ねる左右の空気孔と、押圧棒の挿入孔より押圧棒を挿入して舌を後方に押す動きで舌の上面の中央部を凹状に凹ませること、その上、左右に形成する折曲片の先端部が口挟の両側を横に広げることで両舌側縁を上にあげ、吸気の通り道を作る。更に、上歯嵌合溝と下歯嵌合溝には、歯牙と歯槽堤とを受ける受台を嵌装してある。【選択図】図1
