PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To emphasize features when forming the three-dimensional model of a fetus or the like on the basis of volume data.SOLUTION: A reference plane 44 is set to the volume data, and the position of a voxel is corrected (refer to a code 72) according to a distance (refer to a code 70) from the reference plane to each voxel. The voxel farther from the reference plane is rearranged at a farther position, and thus projections and recesses on the face surface of the fetus are emphasized.
