PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a sickle holder allowing safe carrying and storage of a sickle.SOLUTION: The sickle holder includes: a base (29) a latching tool (4) a safety device (5) and a holding case (7). The base (29) is composed of a hooking tool (10) attachable to a body, and a rigid plate of a size corresponding to the sickle (2) to be mounted and in a nearly L shape when viewed from the front. The latching tool (4) is installed by providing a downward slope to the right in the upper part of a surface (95) of the base (29), and has a structure of a curved plate spring composed of a semicircular engaging part (43) freely demountably latching a fixed part (42) and a handle (21) of the sickle from the left and a guide piece (44) of a nearly/shape. The safety device (5) is provided in the vicinity of the root of a blade of the sickle on the surface (95) of the base (29), and has a hook structure tensed and urged in the transverse direction to the rear.
