A device, system and method for monitoring blood pressure information of a user. A device is configured with first and second pressure sensors, a fastening element, and a processing component. In the method, the first pressure sensor is detachably attached to a first position and the second pressure sensor to a second position on the outer surface of a skin of the user. The pressure sensors generate signals that vary according to deformations of the skin in response to an arterial pressure wave expanding or contracting a blood vessel underlying the skin.
