PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems that most of conventional freshness keeping methods for keeping freshness of fresh food require contacting to food products directly, therefore there is difficulty in the food hygiene, and, though there is a method for keeping freshness by negative ions generated from a ceramic or the like without directly contacting to the food, the method has difficulty in that the method is not sufficient in suppression of putrefactive bacteria, and therefore a freshness keeping material exhibiting an oxidation degradation prevention effect and a putrefactive bacteria repellent effect without directly contacting to food and a production method of the same are required.SOLUTION: Resonant electromagnetic wave having a specific frequency is radiated to a material such as paper, cloth, plastic, metal or ceramic for certain period under a specific temperature condition, thereby the material itself becomes a transfer body of the electromagnetic wave. A chip 63, a seal or a sheet of the transfer body is attached to the outside of a container 61 storing fresh food, and the material serves as an oscillation source of the electromagnetic wave.
