PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a care aid for performing assistance to allow a cared person who is laterally lying on a bed not to be in a dorsally lying posture.SOLUTION: A care aid 10 performs assistance to allow a cared person P laterally lying on a bed 5 not to be in a dorsally lying posture. The care aid 10 includes: a hooking part 20 to be hooked up to a side rail 6 of the bed 5 a back abutment part 40 to be abutted to a back B of a laterally lying cared person P so as to keep a laterally lying cared person P facing the hooking part 20 to keep a laterally lying posture and a connection part 60 for connecting the hooking part 20 to the back abutment part 40.
