The present invention relates to a novel peptide derived from oyster hydrolysate with collagenase inhibitory activities, to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating collagenase carried diseases which includes the same as an active ingredient, to a health supplement for preventing or treating collagenase carried diseases which includes the same as the active ingredient, and to a cosmetic composition for improving wrinkles which includes the same as the active ingredient. The novel peptide according to the present invention can effectively suppress activities of the collagenase so that the composition which includes the same as the active ingredient can be useful for preventing, improving, or treating the collagenase carried diseases, and be useful for improving wrinkles. Therefore the novel peptide of the present invention can be widely used as materials in various fields such as medical, food, and cosmetic industries.
