PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rod-like packaged cooked rice mass, which hardly allows the reo-like cooked rice mass to transform when horizontally placed and hardly allows the rod-like cooked rice mass to hang down when vertically placed.SOLUTION: The rod-like packaged cooked rice mass includes a rod-like cooked rice mass 7 having the peripheral surface wrapped with a packaging sheet 1. The packaging sheet has a protruding part 11 protruding from the rod-like cooked rice mass 7 in the longitudinal direction. Inside the internal surface of the protruding part to form a cylindrical shape when the rod-like cooked rice mass 7 is wrapped with the packaging sheet, a cover 4 is mounted on the packaging sheet, including a lid 42 to cover the entire edge face 72 of the rod-like cooked rice mass, with a lug piece 44 extending from the circumference of the lid. The lid 42 is formed of a material having a hardness which allows no deformation of the rod-like cooked rice mass in the lowest stage when a plurality of rod-like packaged cooked rice masses 8 are stacked in a trefoil structure. The lug piece 44 is bent toward the edge of the protruding part, having an adhesive joint including an adhesive or a double-sided tape adhering to the outer peripheral side. The lid covers the end face of the rod-like cooked rice mass.
