PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is excellent in rise of a hollow leakproof wall and coverage at the side edge of a crotch area, and is excellent in leakage preventing property and an antifouling property of clothes.
SOLUTION: The sanitary napkin 1 includes: an absorbent body 5 having a surface sheet 2, a back surface sheet 3 and an absorbent body 4 a hollow loop-like leakproof wall 7 formed by bonding an elastic sheet 6 to both side portions 5a in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 5 and wing portions 8 extended from both left and right sides of the absorbent body 5, and has a substantially vertically long shape. The elastic sheet 6 has, in an excretion area which has the wing portions 8 in the longitudinal direction of the napkin 1, a first fixed portion 6a fixed to the side of the skin abutting surface 4u of the absorbent body 4, a second fixed portion 6b fixed to the side of the skin non-abutting surface 4d of the absorbent body 4, and a third fixed portion 6c bonded to a wing portion-forming base material 82 transversely outward from the side edge 4a in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent body 4, and has a non-fixed portion 6d between the second and third fixed portions 6b and 6c.
