The device (1) has a support structure (2) on which oyster breeding/storage compartments (3) made of rigid plastic material are fixed. The structure is provided with an attachment element (27) on one of side faces (200) of the structure, where the element handles and returns the structure. The structure has a set of rods formed of vertical uprights (21), central uprights (22), cross pieces (23), central crosspieces (24), longerons (25) and central longerons (26) assembled together such that the structure has general shape of parallelepiped i.e. rectangle parallelepiped. An independent claim is also included for a method for returning an oyster cultivation device.L'invention concerne un dispositif (1) pour la culture d'huîtres.
