Provided is a bed provided with a mechanism which causes longitudinal inclination and transverse inclination in a coordinated manner. This bed is provided with: a top board having an upper torso board on which the upper torso is placed and a waist board which is pivotably connected to the upper torso board and on which the waist is placed each of the upper torso board and the waist board having a left side board pivotably connected to the left side thereof and a right side board pivotably connected to the right side thereof a frame body supporting the top board in such a manner as to align the boards horizontally a longitudinal inclination mechanism having an upper torso jack for pushing the upper torso board upward from underneath the upper torso jack being supported by the frame body to be pivotable in the front back direction and a transverse inclination mechanism having a right side jack for pushing the boards on the right side of the left side board upward from underneath and a left side jack for pushing the boards on the left side of the right side board upward from underneath the right side jack and the left side jack being supported by the frame body via a support frame to be able to swing in the left right direction. The longitudinal inclination mechanism has a coordination board which connects the top board an upper board and a lower board in a zigzag shape so that when the transverse inclination mechanism inclines the top board to the right or left side the inclined side thereof opens.
