PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction unit for ill-drained paddy field, solving the problem that a boat sliding on a lotus root field under traction becomes difficult to slide due to the accumulation of obstacles such as stems on its tip and also its size is limited for the purpose of carrying lotus roots and its stability is poor.SOLUTION: The traction unit has the following construction and mechanism. A fertilizer spreader 16 is loaded on a frame assembly 5 with multiple floats 61-64 unitedly joined through frame components 22 and 23. For the outside floats 61 and 64, the space therebetween can be adjusted by varying the fitting position of the frame component 23 by a fixing pin 46.
