Apparatus and methods are provided for lubricating a medical device, such as a colonoscope, being introduced into a patient's body. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes a housing including a proximal surface, a distal surface, a channel extending between the proximal and distal surfaces； and a lubricant within an interior of the housing surrounding the channel such that a scope or other device inserted through the channel receives lubricant on its outer surface before introduction into a patient's body.L'invention concerne un appareil et des procédés pour lubrifier un dispositif médical, tel qu'un coloscope, qui est introduit à l'intérieur du corps d'un patient.
