The present invention provides an oil-in-water type cosmetic having excellent emulsion stability. The oil-in-water type cosmetic containing (a) an oil-drop particle comprising emulsified oil ingredient, (b) a vesicle particle for stabilizing the oil-drop particle, and (c) a water phase containing water and monovalent aliphatic alcohols with 1 to 4 Carbon atoms. The vesicle particle is preferably formed by an amphiphilic substance which spontaneously forming vesicle particle, and existing locally on the surface of oil-drop particle.
