The invention relates to a honey-based skin care preparation, wherein the honey is entrapped within an aqueous polymeric gel. The skin care preparation is suitable for healing wounds on the one hand and for cosmetic use on the other hand. Preferably, the skin care preparation comprises a humectant, such as glycerin, amongst other substances, in addition to honey and a polymeric gel. Furthermore, the polymeric gel may contain additional ingredients.Cette invention se rapporte à une préparation à base de miel pour le soin de la peau, dans laquelle le miel est enfermé dans un gel polymère aqueux.
