Disclosed is a method of machining an absorbent body of a sanitary product nursing pad. The method comprises the three steps of: A. adsorbing wood pulp fibre and mixing with a polymer water-absorptive material B. compacting, striking and consolidating the absorbent body and C. shaping the absorbent body. Also disclosed is a device for carrying out the method of machining an absorbent body of a sanitary product nursing pad. The device comprises: an adsorption bed (1) a polymer laying roller (7) provided on the adsorption bed (1), for uniformly dispersing a polymer water-absorptive material a transition roller (9) for first pressing of the wood pulp fibre and the polymer water-absorptive material wrapped by an upper sanitary paper (8) and a lower sanitary paper (2) a folding mechanism (10) for folding and packaging an absorbent body having undergone the first pressing a lower compaction roller (11.2) and an upper compaction roller (11.1) for a second compaction of the folded and packaged absorbent body an upper striking roller (12.1) and a lower striking roller (12.2) used for striking and consolidating the absorbent body after the second compaction a cutter apparatus for cutting the absorbent body having undergone striking and consolidation and flat conveyor belts (13, 15) and a negative pressure apparatus connected to the flat conveyor belts (13, 15). The method and the device are suitable for various kinds of nursing pad product. While increasing the tensile strength of a nursing pad product, manufacture of the absorbent body in the nursing pad product is simplified and realized, reducing the manufacturing costs of the nursing pad. In an absorbent body manufactured using this method and device, the polymer water-absorptive material is uniformly distributed in the wood pulp fibre, and slippage of the polymer water-absorptive material is limited by the striking and consolidation, guaranteeing the liquid absorption function of the nursing pad product.Linvention concer
