A centerline (L2) of the permanent magnet (16a, 16b) is arranged at a position different from that of a centerline (L1 of a sidewall of the blood chamber (7) such that a rotation centerline (L3) of the impeller (10) matches the centerline (L1) of the sidewall of the blood chamber (7) during pump operation. Therefore, high torque transmission efficiency is obtained.
