The present invention relates to an environmentally-friendly plant cultivation system, and more specifically, to an environmentally-friendly plant cultivation system capable of smoothly operating a plant cultivation system using sunlight and ground heat, comprising: an illumination device which provides illumination required for plant growth and a temperature control device which controls the temperature of a plant cultivation space, wherein the illumination device includes a light-collecting unit which collects sunlight, a light-conveying unit which conveys the sunlight collected by the light-collecting unit to the plant cultivation space, a lighting unit which emits the sunlight conveyed by the light-conveying unit into the plant cultivation space, and a cooling unit which cools the lighting unit. The lighting unit includes an LED light and thus can supplement the illumination provided by sunlight. The cooling unit includes an air cooling means in the proximity of the LED light which enables circulation of outside air, and thereby allows heat to be exchanged between an air cooling unit and the LED light, which consequently prevents the LED light from overheating when the LED light is in continuous use in prolonged cloudy weather during the rainy season and ultimately prevents malfunctions and the occurrence of fire in the lighting unit. The temperature control device includes both an indirect ventilation unit which ventilates by means of ground source heat exchange and a direct ventilation unit which brings atmospheric air directly into the plant cultivation space.
